"Yes, in my view their favorite. In the past week they played well in the league, and they've got momentum now, "Redknapp said in an interview with The Sun.
"They could have lost to Chelsea, but the six points of the match at Stamford Bridge, and the latter is a statement of purpose," added the former manager of Tottenham Hotspur and Portsmouth.
"Alex has a great squad to choose from. Four attackers top, speed on the wing inside Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Nani. They're always going to score goals. They are able to solve problems in central defense and Chris Smalling and Phil Jones will be back soon, "he continued.
"They're just on goal difference at the end of last season, and they are a better team now," said Redknapp.
If Manchester United is the favorite champion, and how chance Arsenal win Premier League title this season? According to Redknapp, 'Gunner' is too far away from the title.
"To be honest, the distance they are a million miles. I think they will find it hard to finish top four with the squad they have now, "he said.
"I think they might have won the League Cup. If I were Arsene (Wenger), I will make it a priority because at least it would eliminate the burden about not won anything, "added the 65-year man.
"I know this sounds extreme. But, I strongly believe that this is the position of Arsenal at the moment, "he said.
